How does TherapyHosting.com handle security?

TherapyHosting.com takes a trifurcated approach to managing security. Hardware is located in only the most secure locations, and is accessed by following an access protocol. The software security protocol is based upon complying with HIPAA and other legal and ethical considerations, and the use of SSL encryption when transferring appropriate data. Lastly, the human resources protocol is focused upon maintaining the confidentiality necessary while managing the operations of the company.



What are the transaction fees for booked appointments?

When a client books an appointment through your website, there are two possibilities as to how your professional fee may be paid:

1. The appointment may be paid by credit card. If the appointment is to be held in person or by telephone, we charge a flat 3% for the credit card transaction. If the appointment is booked for an online meeting, we charge a 10% transaction fee. The 10% fee includes the credit card transaction fee, bandwidth charges, customer care and technical support for you and your clients. Payments are remitted to you every two weeks, less our transaction fees.

2. If the appointment is not paid for through your website, then we charge a $.10 per minute fee billed monthly.




What does TherapyHosting.com provide to therapists?

Therapists may use any of the features included in their TherapyHosting.com account. This includes the Website builder and all Virtual Office functionalities. TherapyHosting.com is extremely versatile - use the functions that are of interest to you, and add or subtract any functionality at any time.
  • Assemble your Website.
  • Activate a virtual office to connect to your TherapyHosting.com Website or an existing site .
  • Use of TherapyBlogger with Really Simple Syndication (RSS) to syndicate your articles and blog entries to your Website visitors as well as to other Websites on the internet.
  • Use TherapyHosting.com's SecureClient Notes to store your client notes in encrypted files on your computer, not on a public server.
  • Create an archive of resources and documents for your clients.
  • Develop an online mailing list of visitors who register to your Website.



    Can I change my website's design (template)?

    As many times, and whenever you want. We regularly upload new designs.

    Yes! Just follow the directions during setup.



    Can I set my own fees?

    YES . this is your practice, and your practice only. You determine all aspects of it. As a guide, many therapists set their fees at $1.60 per minute ($80 50 minute sessions). The only exception is that "E-mmediate Care" (if you choose to offer Online Therapy services, E-mmediate Care allows you to take "walk-in" clients who want Online Therapy). E-mmediate Care is billed at $1.60 per minute, no matter what fee you have set for your booked sessions. You may opt in or out of ecare at any time.



    How am I paid for sessions booked on my site?

    TherapyHosting.com issues payments to therapists every 2 weeks and retains a 10% transaction fee if you meet with a client using the virtual office, and a 3% transaction fee if a client books through your website but meets with you in person.



    Can my fees be paid to me by direct deposit?

    Yes, contact us and we will set that up for you.



    What kind of content can I upload to my website?
