I believe that clarity about fees and payment helps build the foundation of a good therapeutic relationship. Below you’ll find my current rates and payment information. If you have questions that aren’t answered here, please reach out — I’m happy to talk through the details.
Session Fees
Individual therapy session (up to 55 minutes): $190
Fees are the same whether we meet in person or via telehealth.
Between-Session Contact
I understand that things can come up between our regular sessions. Here’s how I handle phone calls and check-ins outside of scheduled appointments:
- Under 15 minutes: No charge
- 15–30 minutes: $80
- Over 30 minutes: Full session fee ($190)
Insurance
I am an in-network provider for TRICARE, including for active-duty service members, retirees, and their dependents.
For all other insurance plans, I do not bill directly. However, I’m happy to provide you with a superbill — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on the specifics of your plan, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider in advance to understand your benefits.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept:
- Cash
- Credit and debit cards
- HSA and FSA cards
- Personal checks
Cancellation Policy
I ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This gives me the opportunity to offer the time to another client.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice (fee-for-service clients): Full session fee of $190
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice (TRICARE clients): Charged per the terms of your TRICARE plan and our contracted agreement
Reduced-Fee Slots
I hold a limited number of reduced-fee slots for clients experiencing financial hardship. These are discussed and arranged on an individual basis. If cost is a barrier to getting the support you need, please reach out — let’s talk about what might be possible.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients without insurance or who do not plan to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services. I provide this to all self-pay clients as part of intake paperwork.
